Talent Shows - Show off your talent!

Chez Snoopy Music Performances Instrumental musical performers need to perform while families wait to be seated.

"Music in the Morning" -individual performances of students in the morning before school starts during the last Friday in December. More info will come home with your student closer to the time.

Performing for Music Class - All students are invited to perform for their music class in December and in May.

Kindergarten - Kindergarten students will present a song during their Kindergarten Rodeo.

Funded by the Hedgcoxe PTA, the 33rd Annual "Celebrate the Arts" Day at Hedgcoxe Elementary will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026. The purpose of this day is to acquaint the students with the various fine arts and art forms and to encourage an appreciation for each. The students will rotate through a variety of hands-on activities, demonstrations, and performances. The artists, both professional and hobbyist, will be invited to share their talent and area of expertise with the students because of the role that the fine arts has played in their lives. Parent volunteers will be needed to assist with hands-on activities.

Plano Children's Chorale - The Plano Children's Chorale is a district-sponsored choir comprised of 100 fifth grade students who are musically exceptional. Each Plano I.S.D. elementary school is allowed to send a specified number of students to these auditions based on the number of fifth grade students at each campus. Students who are accepted into this highly prestigious choir will be provided an opportunity to accelerate and enhance their musical skills in a choral setting, as well as represent their schools at various state, district and city events. Information will be provided during the first few weeks of school.
