Qualifications: Graduated from Plano East Senior High, I attended Plano schools from 5th Grade to 12th Grade! Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and from Texas A&M Commerce in Commerce, TX. Early Child through 6th Grade Generalist with English as a Second Language also from Texas A&M Commerce. Associates of Art degree through Collin College.

Experience in Education:

This is my 12th year teaching, and all of them have been here at Hedgcoxe.

Family:

I currently live in Princeton with my husband Austin, our two kiddos Julieth and Will and our three doggo children. My furry children are Pickett Nox (Double Doodle), Ollivander Hamilton (Lab/German Shepard Mix), and Lavender Fawkes (Shepard/Hound Mix). 
 

Interest/Hobbies:

I am a HUGE Dallas Stars fan!! I go to a game whenever I can! Other than going to hockey games, I enjoy doing crafty things (painting, crocheting, scrapbooking, etc.), being around my family and friends, and listening to music! I also LOVE to read! Any free time I have, you will catch me reading or listening to an audiobook. 
 

Interesting Fact About Me: 

Before I decided I wanted to become a teacher, I wanted to be a veterinarian. So I got a job at a local Animal Clinic and I have worked there since 2003! I still work there most Saturdays and holidays as the receptionist.
