Qualifications: I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in Biology. I also graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master's in Forensic Science. My certifications include Early Childhood to 6th grade (EC-6), Science of Teaching Reading (STR), Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Experience in Education: 

I worked in Richardson ISD for 2 years as a Transition Program paraprofessional. I have been in Plano ISD for a total of 6 years. I spent 3 of those years working as a Special Education Resource/Inclusion paraprofessional, 1 year as a Special Education Resource/Inclusion teacher, and 2 years as a Special Education Elevate teacher. 

Family: 

I live with my husband and our 5 fish.  I visit my mom, cousin, and brother regularly since they live close by. 

Interests/Hobbies: 

I enjoy traveling, trying new things, spending quality time with my family, and binge-watching crime documentaries. 

Interest fact about me: 

I moved to Plano from the island of Jamaica as a teenager. I attended Vines and Plano Senior High.
