5th Grade Teacher

Experience in Education:

I am starting my 20th year in education. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Besides teaching 5th grade, I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, middle school, and high school.  5th is my favorite grade EVER!  I have been at Hedgcoxe for 12 years!

Family:

I have two amazing daughters who keep me very busy. Aria is 9 and will be in 4th grade at Hedgcoxe. Kennady is 18 and will attend Stephen F. Austin State University in the fall.

Interests/Hobbies:

I enjoy working out, reading, dancing, movies, music/concerts, musicals, sports (especially basketball) and all things FASHION. I can’t wait to have an amazing 5th grade year! 

Interesting fact about me:

I have a fraternal twin sister who is also a teacher, and I am an Army brat!
